Alhad D. serves as a Sustainability Specialist at the San Mateo County Sustainability Department since November 2023. Previously, Alhad held the position of Fleet Electrification Fellow at Silicon Valley Clean Energy from September 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included the development and launch of a Fleet Electrification Technical Assistance program, alongside creating reporting processes. Experience also includes a role as Climate Resilience Fellow at Bay Area Regional Collaborative and participation in the CivicSpark AmeriCorps Program as Adaptation Network Lead. Earlier in the career, Alhad contributed to SupplyShift as a Marketing Specialist and Customer Operations Analyst, and interned at Committee To Bridge The Gap, analyzing documents for nuclear site remediation. Alhad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, along with a Certificate in Climate Protection Professional from Skyline College.
