Marcela Miranda

Marcela Miranda has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the field of education. Marcela has held various roles such as Director of School Community Partnerships at the San Mateo County Office of Education since 2023, Director of Human Resources at both the Santa Clara County Office of Education (2019-2023) and the Franklin-McKinley School District (2017-2019), and Founding Principal of the Inspire Academy Middle School (2014-2017). Marcela has also served as an Elementary School Principal, High School Associate Principal of Educational Development, Teacher and Principal at an Elementary School, and English Teacher at a High School. Marcela'swork experience dates back to 1999, where they began as a Student Teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Marcela Miranda obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Literature with a minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 1996 to 1998. Marcela then pursued a Teacher Credential in Single Subject English from UCLA, from 1998 to 2000. In 2005 to 2007, Marcela completed their Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision at San Jose State University, along with a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential. Marcela further enhanced their credentials by obtaining a Clear Administrative Services Credential from the Santa Clara County Office of Education in 2007 to 2008. Marcela Miranda has also acquired various additional certifications, including the Superintendent Academy in 2018, the Special Education Academy in 2017, and the Personnel Academy in 2016, all from the Association of California School Administrators.
