David Jr Anaya is an experienced civil engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University. Anaya has held various engineering positions, beginning as an Engineering Intern with the City of San José, focusing on floodplain management and related permit creation, followed by roles as Engineering Trainee and Junior Engineer, gaining exposure to structural engineering and code inspections. Currently, Anaya serves as an Assistant Engineer at San Jose Water, where responsibilities include logging plan submittals, managing construction documentation, and conducting minor code reviews. Prior experience also includes a Junior Engineer position at HMH and a role as a Machine Operator at Fox Racing Shox. Anaya is familiar with the California Building Code and has a solid foundation in construction-related processes and inspections.
