Matthew Luevano is a legal professional with diverse experience in public defense and technology law. Currently serving as a Law Clerk at the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, Luevano previously held positions as a Summer Legal Intern at Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc., and an intern in the Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, where technology law research was conducted for Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin. Additional experience includes a Summer Legal Fellowship at Georgetown University Law Center focused on privacy and technology, an Impact Consultant role at Oxford Hub Impact Labs Consulting, an internship in the Education Equity Unit at ACLU SoCal, and a Judicial Externship at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Luevano holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Southern California.
