Liat Marks is an experienced professional in policy and evaluation, currently serving as the Manager of Policy & Evaluation at the San Francisco Pretrial Diversion Project since December 2021. Prior to this role, Liat worked as a Policy Researcher & Analyst for the Survivor Advocacy Project at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law. Liat also held positions as a University Lecturer and Researcher at Netanya Academic College, and as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Central District Criminal Court in Israel. Additionally, Liat gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at the Israeli Ministry of Justice's Public Defenders Office. Academic achievements include a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, and both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media Studies from Tel Aviv University.
