David Gunnison-Wiseman is an experienced professional in environmental outreach and community engagement, currently serving as the Engagement Coordinator for the San Francisco Environment Department. In this role, David supervises a multilingual grassroots team and is responsible for staff development and project leadership opportunities. Prior experience includes positions such as Environmental Outreach Associate and Aide at the same department, where David actively contributed to the City’s zero waste goals and managed partnerships with various organizations. Additionally, David volunteered as a Site Manager during the COVID-19 pandemic and has held roles in community outreach and conservation with organizations like KaBOOM! and the Golden Gate Audubon Society. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Analysis from Pitzer College.
