Patty Inglis is in her sixth year as executive vice president of the 49ers.
Inglis leads the 49ers' legal and governmental affairs department and is an integral member of the team that made the 49ers new home at Levi's® Stadium a reality. Inglis has worked closely with the City of Santa Clara, surrounding businesses, the NFL and financing sources, as well as the team's ownership and sales executives, to formulate the agreements that paved the way for development, financing, construction and operation of the Levi's® Stadium. In addition to her stadium activities, Inglis oversees all other legal functions, including structural and compliance matters for the 49ers and related companies, as well as strategic planning for ownership.
Inglis is no stranger to the 49ers, having spent the previous nine years as vice president and general counsel of DeBartolo Corporation, the 49ers' parent company, where her responsibilities included management of ownership interests as well as advising in connection with the 49ers' early exploration of new stadium possibilities.
Before joining DeBartolo Corporation, Inglis spent more than 20 years in the private practice of law, advising clients in various industries ranging from entertainment to manufacturing on a wide variety of legal and business matters. In that capacity, she negotiated and oversaw the completion of several billion dollars of merger, acquisition and financing transactions. As a partner in the Corporate and Securities practice group of Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff, Inglis was a member of a major firm's Management Committee and chaired its Hiring Committee.
Inglis, who has been on the boards of several businesses during her career, has also served on the Boards and Executive Committees of several charitable organizations in Cleveland, Ohio and is a member of the Visiting Committee of the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. She divides her time between Santa Clara and Ohio, and has two daughters, Jaclyn and Katie.
