Chelsey Lane has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Chelsey began their career as a Programming Co-Chair and Team Member for Cal Poly Pomona’s student government, where they managed a budget of $100,000 to create programs that enhance student growth and learning.
Chelsey then worked as an Office Administrative Assistant and Swim Instructor at The Aquatic Zone, where they processed payments, conducted orientations, and taught swim lessons.
After that, Chelsey took on the role of a Client Services Coordinator at AccentCare, Inc., where they were responsible for staffing coordination and efficient scheduling between employees and clients in a home healthcare agency.
Chelsey then transitioned into education, working as a Substitute Teacher at Corona-Norco Unified School District, adapting quickly to a variety of subjects and teaching styles. Chelsey also gained experience as a Student Teacher at Santiago High School, successfully teaching physical education classes and collaborating with teachers to develop plans for struggling students.
More recently, Chelsey worked as a Physical Education Teacher at Beaumont Unified School District, instructing 300 students and planning assignments and evaluations. Chelsey Lane completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Animal Sciences at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2008 to 2012. Chelsey then pursued a Master's of Learning and Teaching degree in Education at the University of Redlands from 2018 to 2019. In 2019, they attended Point Loma Nazarene University to study Adapted Physical Education, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree in this field. Additionally, Chelsey Lane has acquired several certifications including Youth Mental Health First Aid USA from Mental Health First Aid Trainings in April 2023, Concussion in Sports, Heat and Illness Prevention, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest from the National Federation of State High School Associations in April 2020. Chelsey also obtained an Adapted Physical Education Authorization from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in January 2020 and a Certificate of Clearance (CTC) from the same institution in January 2019.
