Kristiene Gong is a seasoned public affairs professional with experience in various roles related to communication and advocacy. Currently serving as a Public Affairs Specialist at the San Diego County Water Authority since January 2019, Kristiene previously held the position of Public Communications Officer at the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) from September 2016 to January 2019. Prior experience includes an internship at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the Office of the Press Secretary and roles such as Editor for the Professional Association for China's Environment and Constituent Advocate for the City of Boston. Kristiene Gong holds a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Law, and Public Policy from Northeastern University, along with additional studies at Freie Universität Berlin.
