Luis G Hernandez is a professional visual artist and an accomplished gallery director at San Diego State University, where leadership of the Steppling Art Gallery has been maintained since November 2014. In addition to this role, Luis has been serving as art faculty at Imperial Valley Community College since August 2012, and co-founded the MexiCali Biennial in October 2006, where curatorial efforts continue. Luis holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts from Otis College of Art and Design, earned between 2000 and 2003.
