Chris Manecke

Director Of Facilities at San Diego Humane Society

Chris Manecke has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Chris is currently the Director of Facilities at the San Diego Humane Society since May 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Command Officer for the RCFE Disaster Preparedness Task Force since January 2015. From December 2004 to May 2019, Chris worked as the General Manager Building Services at Sodexo. Chris also held the position of President of Leadership Team at Rancho Vista Evangelical Church from September 2016 to January 2019. Additionally, Chris has worked as the Church Operations Coordinator at Rancho Vista Evangelical Covenant Church from December 2010 to January 2015. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Engineering at Lancaster General Health from September 2001 to August 2004. Chris has also worked as the Director of Facilities Management at Crothall Facilities Management from October 1997 to September 2001, and as a District Manager at Intellex Facilities Management from August 1994 to October 1997. Chris started their career as the Director of Support Services at Central Arkansas Rehabilitation Hospital in September 1990 and later moved to the role of Director of Support Services at Charter Hospital of Little Rock from December 1989 to September 1990.

Chris Manecke has a diverse education history. In 1979, they completed their high school education at Canyon High School, where they pursued general studies. Following this, in 1980 and 1981, Chris obtained certifications in fire fighting and life preservation from the Community College of the Air Force and Southern Arkansas University Tech, respectively.

In 1982, Chris pursued a course in non-commissioned officer training at the Community College of the Air Force. The following year, they obtained a certification in Fire Protection Specialist from the same institution. Additionally, they completed a certification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration - 165 Hrs. from the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College in 1986.

Continuing their education, Chris completed a certification in Microsoft Access 97 from Towson University in 1999. They also obtained a certification in Hospital Engineering Courses of Study from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1994.

Furthermore, Chris has acquired multiple additional certifications throughout their career. Notably, they received certifications in Rescue - Esophageal Obturator Airway and Rescue - Medical Anti Shock Trousers from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1984. They also obtained certifications in Earthquake Hazard Mitigation for Hospitals from FEMA in 1991, and Plant Technology and Safety Management from the Joint Commission in 1993. More recently, Chris obtained certifications in Adult Mental Health First Aid, Youth Mental Health First Aid, and Certified Incident Command System from various institutions in 2017.
