Tiana Huang, PE, currently serves as the Operations and Engineering Manager at San Diego Gas & Electric since January 2021, following a tenure as a Senior Engineer. Prior to this role, Tiana worked at Burns & McDonnell from February 2014 to December 2020 as a Staff Electrical Engineer, focusing on circuit breaker and transformer replacements, upgrades, and capacitor bank installations. Tiana's experience includes a research assistant position at the UCLA Smart Grid Energy Research Center, exploring Home Area Network programs and Demand Response integration, as well as a professional trainee role at Southern California Edison, where responsibilities included safety-related battery upgrades and protective relay design reviews.
