Danny Pasawongse serves as the Executive Director of Technology Infrastructure & Operations at the San Diego County Office of Education since September 2022, overseeing technology services for approximately 780 schools and nearly 500,000 students. Previously, Danny held the position of Senior Director of Information Technology Services & Support at the Chula Vista Elementary School District, managing a comprehensive IT strategy for one of California's largest elementary school systems. Danny's extensive experience in educational technology also includes roles as Chief Technology Officer at both Mater Dei Catholic Elementary and Mater Dei Catholic High School, and Director of Information Technology at Archbishop Mitty High School. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Business Analytics & Strategic Innovation from Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a credential from Harvard Business School, and programs in cybersecurity from Harvard Kennedy School.
