Claudia Plascencia currently serves as a Deputy District Attorney at the San Diego District Attorney's Office, a position held since November 2012. Prior experience includes a role as a Law Clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in summer 2011, where Claudia conducted preliminary hearings, legal research, and prepared office memoranda. Claudia also gained experience at the Orange County Office of the District Attorney in summer 2010, participating in a “third strike” gang case, drafting legal documents, and observing trials. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (2009 - 2012), and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara (2005 - 2008).
