Dana Simmons, Brigadier General, USAF, (Ret), has extensive leadership experience in both military and civilian sectors. Since May 2011, Dana has served as Chairman of the Board at the San Antonio Food Bank and holds various board positions for the USAA Educational Foundation and THE USAA FOUNDATION INC. Dana's previous roles at USAA from April 2010 to June 2021 include Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff for the CEO, as well as various senior leadership positions in human resources and corporate services. Dana's military career spanned from 1977 to 2010, culminating in the role of Commander for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas State University and a Master of Arts in Police Administration from Webster University.
