Lae-Hoon Kim currently serves as Corporate Vice President at Samsung Electronics since April 2021. Prior to this role, Lae-Hoon held the position of Principal Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm from August 2010 to March 2021. Earlier experience includes internships at Microsoft Research and IBM Research in 2009 and 2008, respectively. Lae-Hoon Kim earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as a Master of Science in Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where studies spanned from 2004 to 2010 and 2008 to 2009, respectively. Additionally, Lae-Hoon obtained both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University between 1999 and 2001 and 1995 and 1999, respectively.
