Amar Bura has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in various industries. In 1998, they began their career as a Software Engineer at Intelligroup, where they worked until 1999. From 1999 to 2002, they served as a Sr. Software Engineer at INFOBRAIN TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED. In 2002, they joined Oracle as an Oracle CRM Technical Consultant and stayed with the company until 2003. Amar Bura then moved to Dell, where they held multiple roles including Solution Architect/Development Lead from 2003 to 2009, IT Sr. Manager from 2009 to 2013, and Head of Services CRM Portfolio from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Deloitte Digital as the Salesforce CRM Practice Leader for a brief period of time. From 2019 to 2021, Amar Bura served as the Head of Product & Engineering for Customer CIO at National Grid. Currently, since 2021, they hold the position of Head of Global Customer Support - IT at Samsara. In January 2022, they also took on the role of Head of Customer Facing Systems (Marketing, Sales & Service) at Samsara.
Amar Bura has a Master's degree in Computer Applications & Management Information Systems from Osmania University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. In March 2023, Amar Bura obtained a Blended Professional Certificate in Chief Digital Officer from MIT Professional Education.
