Vice President Of Engineering - Ecommerce And Marketing Technologies at Sam's Club

Kamran Makki has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the field of engineering and technology. Kamran began their career at General Mills as a Technical Lead, where they designed and developed a Trade Promotion System. Kamran then moved on to Best Buy, where they managed a team to deliver an enterprise-wide identity management and single sign-on solution. At Accenture, Kamran partnered with key client executives to define and deliver web-based solutions for multiple functional areas. Kamran then joined Target, where they held several positions including Group Manager of Target.com Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations. Kamran also worked at Sephora USA, Inc. as the Vice President of Data Science/Engineering and Marketing Technologies, where they built a highly skilled team and leveraged machine learning to provide personalized experiences. Most recently, at Sam's Club, Kamran served as the Vice President of Engineering - eCommerce and Marketing Technologies, leading the design and development of a cloud native Omni-Commerce platform. Throughout their career, Kamran has consistently focused on improving speed to market, code quality, and team productivity.

Kamran Makki attended the University of Minnesota from 1988 to 1992, studying Computer Engineering.
