Guilherme Rios is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in audit and compliance, currently serving as the General Manager and Head of Audit & Compliance for the APAC & EME regions at Vale since May 2011. Guilherme's career includes roles as Regional Audit & Compliance Officer and Head of Internal Audit at Vale, as well as Master Internal Auditor. Guilherme also contributes as an Audit Committee Member at Samarco, having held a position as Senior Internal Auditor at USIMINAS and previously worked in various auditing and finance roles at Fiat do Brasil, BDO, and the Ministry of Health of Minas Gerais. Academically, Guilherme holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD, leadership training from The University of Queensland, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, supplemented by an extension course in Valuation from Ibmec. Guilherme Rios also holds multiple professional certifications including CIA, CFE, CCEP-I, CRMA, and CCSA.
