Nancy R. Smith has over 20 years of experience in philanthropy and civil society organizations, focusing on gender equality, social justice, and ecological stability. Currently serving as the Director of Development and Philanthropy at Salzburg Global Seminar since June 2021, Nancy has previously held significant roles, including Independent Consultant at NRS Consulting since January 2014, and Director of Gender and Philanthropy at Salzburg Global Seminar from 2000 to 2013. Additional experience includes serving as Executive Associate and International Coordinator for Girls Incorporated from 1997 to 2000. Nancy holds a B.A. in Politics from Mount Holyoke College and an M.A. in International Relations from Lancaster University.
