Matteo Martinelli currently serves as the Logistics IT & Operations Manager at Salvatore Ferragamo since January 2011, overseeing the design, optimization, and integration of internal logistics processes with WMS and ERP systems. A key project includes the development of a new automated 20,000 square meter logistics distribution center featuring an RFID traceability system, where Matteo operated as the Logistics Leader and Operations Manager. Responsibilities spanned the analysis and testing phases, including mapping logistics flows, designing operational activities, and optimizing system algorithms to enhance warehouse efficiency. Previous roles at Salvatore Ferragamo include Senior Logistics Specialist and Logistics Staff, focusing on warehouse optimization, WMS implementation, and process monitoring. Prior experience includes a brief position in production planning at Fendi. Matteo holds a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Gestionale from Università di Pisa and has additional education at LIUC - Università Cattaneo.
