Carsten Hesse has extensive experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as Plant Manager at Saltigo since July 2005, where additional roles include Head of HSEQ, Head of Quality Unit API, Head of Manufacturing Strategy, and Projekt Leader for BL Pharma. Prior positions include Plant Manager at NovoChem from February 2003 to June 2005 and Launch Plant Manager at Bayer HealthCare from April 2000 to January 2003. Carsten Hesse also held multiple plant management roles at Bayer from April 1993 to January 2003. Educational background includes a Dr. rer. nat. in Organic Chemistry from Technische Universität Berlin, obtained between 1981 and 1990.
