Andrea Steel is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the fund administration sector. Currently serving as Counsel at Carey Olsen since February 2019, and as Director and Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance at Saltgate Limited since April 2013, Andrea leads a team responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive legal and regulatory strategies. Previous roles include Vice President and Managing Counsel at State Street, where significant expertise was gained in investment servicing solutions, and Head of Legal at Mourant International Finance Administration, where an in-house legal team was established. Early career experience includes positions at Carey Olsen and PwC. Andrea holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law, York, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
