Roxana Orellana is an experienced policy advisor with a focus on refugee and immigrant issues, currently serving as a Policy Advisor for Refugees and New Americans and Language Access Coordinator at Salt Lake City Corporation since January 2022. Previously, Roxana held roles as Communications Manager and Public Involvement Specialist at Salt Lake City Corporation and WSP USA, respectively. Roxana's background also includes significant experience in digital communication and social media as a Social Media Specialist at the Utah State Office of Education, as well as a journalism career where articles were published in The Salt Lake Tribune and Rochester Post Bulletin, covering diverse topics such as education and immigration. Roxana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from St. Catherine University and has pursued education at Ulster University.
