Riaan Kommer has extensive experience in security operations and criminal investigations, currently serving as a Security Contractor and PSD Team Leader at Sallyport since February 2015. Prior to that, Riaan Kommer spent over two decades with the South African Police Service (SAPS), where notable roles included Special Task Force Operator and Murder & Robbery Investigator, focusing on serious and violent crimes, particularly those involving firearms. Riaan Kommer holds a National Diploma in Policing from Technicon SA and completed Matric at Parys High School. The professional background includes advanced training in weaponry, hostage rescue, unarmed combat, and tactical applications, further enhancing the skill set in law enforcement and security.
