Charles Kipp, Ed.D., serves as the Principal of Salina South High School since July 2020. Prior to this role, Kipp was the Lead Associate Principal at USD 457 Garden City Public Schools from July 2013 to July 2020. Kipp's educational career began as a Literature Teacher at Manhattan-Ogden USD 383, covering AP Literature and Composition, Humanities, and Composition, as well as serving as the Varsity Tennis Coach from August 2005 to July 2013. Earlier experience includes working as the Graphic Design Coordinator for the Kansas Farm Bureau from September 1996 to March 2004, handling graphic design across various departments and marketing initiatives. Kipp holds a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, and Ed.D. in Literature and Educational Leadership from Kansas State University, as well as a Secondary Teaching Certification in English Language and Literature from Washburn University. Kipp graduated with a high school diploma from Manhattan High School West/East Campus in 1985.
