Daniel Armbrust is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry and start-up incubation. As the co-founder, Board Director, and initial CEO of Silicon Catalyst since 2014, Daniel has been pivotal in supporting semiconductor start-ups with prototype development, funding, and customer acquisition. In addition, Daniel serves as a Board Observer and Advisor at Ayar Labs, Board Chairman at both Irresistible Materials and Salience Labs, and Board Director for Halo Industries, Inc. and Exokeryx. Daniel's consultancy role at Berkeley Lab focuses on technology innovation for advanced computing and microelectronics. Previously, Daniel held significant leadership positions at PVMC and SEMATECH, driving initiatives to enhance the solar photovoltaic industry and orchestrate R&D collaborations among semiconductor companies. Daniel's academic background includes a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Ceramic Sciences and Engineering from Penn State University.
