Svetlana Baeva serves as the Assistant Vice President of Investments at SALIC, focusing on international and local investments in the agricultural sector since September 2023. Prior to this role, Baeva was a Private Equity Associate at the Russian Direct Investment Fund from July 2020 to August 2023, where significant contributions were made to a portfolio of over 100 companies across various sectors, including healthcare, infrastructure, and technology, while facilitating syndications with leading Middle Eastern and Asian sovereign wealth funds. Baeva has also held board member positions with ChemRar High Tech Center and Elementaree, and has an extensive background in investment banking from UniCredit, where roles included Investment Banking Associate and Analyst, as well as experience in business valuation at PwC. Baeva holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
