Wendy Okada currently serves as a Humanities Teacher at Salesian College Preparatory and is an English as a Second Language Adult Instructor with the Mount Diablo Unified School District. Previously, Wendy was a French Instructor at Acalanes Union High School District and held various legal assistant roles, including Immigration Paralegal at the Law Office of Shamieh, Shamieh & Ternieden and Executive Assistant at Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP. Wendy has also worked as a Court Executive Assistant for NAPA County Superior Court and as a paralegal with the Habeas Corpus Resource Center. In education, Wendy's background includes a Master 2 in Human Rights from Université catholique de Lyon and a TESOL Certificate, alongside a Bachelor’s Degree from Franklin University Switzerland in Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies.
