Martin Harren is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the maritime and medical sectors. Since August 2003, Martin Harren has served as the CEO of Harren Group and holds multiple positions as Managing Director at SAL Heavy Lift, SAL Engineering, and SAL Renewables since 2017 and 2021, respectively. Prior to these roles, Martin Harren gained clinical experience as an Assistant Doctor at Charité from 1999 to 2003, focusing on general, visceral, and transplant surgery, as well as serving as a resident in hepatology and gastroenterology. Martin Harren's maritime career began as a Deck Cadet at Reederei Schepers/Harren & Partner in 1990, accumulating 12 months of sea experience. Martin Harren holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Freie Universität Berlin, earned between 1992 and 1999.
