Jason Crean, MSBio, EdD, has a diverse and extensive background in biology education and multimedia development. Currently serving as a Multimedia Developer and Teacher Ambassador at Howard Hughes Medical Institute since October 2011, Jason leads professional development initiatives utilizing HHMI media. In addition, Jason is an Instructor of Biology and Preservice Science Teacher Education at Saint Xavier University. Holding various leadership roles, including Past President of the Illinois Science Teachers Association and a consultant for the Chicago Zoological Society/Brookfield Zoo, Jason has also contributed to the National Science Advisory Board as a member and co-chair for the 6-12 Science Development Committee with The College Board. Jason's educational credentials include a Doctorate in Education Leadership from Concordia University Chicago and advanced degrees in Biology and Education from Western Illinois University and Saint Xavier University.
