Kwakye Acheampong, PharmD, BCPS, currently serves as the Director of Pharmacy at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, a position held since April 2023. With extensive experience in various pharmacy roles, Kwakye has been a staff pharmacist at Saint Michael's Medical Center since 2004 and previously worked as the Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Trinitas Regional Medical Center from July 2022 to April 2023. Additional experience includes serving as Pharmacy Operations Supervisor at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center from October 2015 to July 2022 and as a pharmacist at St. Joseph's Healthcare System from August 2013 to October 2015. Kwakye holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Rutgers University, earned between 1998 and 2004.
