Cassandra Olvera has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Cassandra began their career as a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens in 2006, where they worked until 2007. Cassandra then moved on to North Kansas City Hospital, where they served as a Pharmacy Intern from 2007 to 2009. In 2011, Cassandra became a PGY1 Resident at the University of Missouri Health Care, completing their residency in 2012. After their residency, they joined Saint Luke's Health System as a Staff Pharmacist from 2012 to 2013, and later became the Director of Pharmacy. Since 2013, Cassandra has been serving as the Pharmacy Director at Hedrick Medical Center and Wright Memorial Hospital.

Cassandra Olvera obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, specializing in Pharmacy, from 2005 to 2011.
