Holly Atkins has been a dedicated educator at Saint Leo University since August 2011, serving as a Professor of Education, Chair of Undergraduate Education, and Associate Professor, while also acting as the technology coordinator for the education department. Holly has directed Teacher Technology Summer Institutes and facilitated professional development initiatives between Saint Leo University and Pasco Middle School. Courses taught include Teaching the Adolescent Learner, Educational Technology, and Adolescent Literacy. Prior to this role, Holly taught reading and language arts to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Pinellas County Schools from August 1998 to May 2011. Holly holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education, along with a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction, all obtained from the University of South Florida.
