Maryann Dawson is an experienced educator with a career spanning several years in various teaching roles. Currently serving as a Classroom Teacher at Saint Joseph School since August 2021, Maryann previously worked at South Boston Catholic Academy in the same capacity from September 2020 to August 2021. Prior experience includes a position as ParentChild+ Coordinator at Stoughton Public Schools from July 2012 to September 2020, focusing on using education to empower low-income families and break the cycle of poverty. Earlier in the career, Maryann was a Second Grade Teacher for the Town of Franklin from 1992 to 1999. Maryann holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Regis College.
