Wahaz Nasim is a Senior Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain since November 2022, specializing in Metal Bond powder development. Prior experience includes serving as a Post Doctorate Research Associate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, focusing on Sheet Metal Processing, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University, concentrating on the Mechanical Processing of Mg and Al alloys. Wahaz has also contributed to research at Los Alamos National Laboratory, working on Visco-Plastic Self Consistent Modelling of Mg alloys, and held an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, involved in Phase Field Modelling of the Metal Casting Process. Wahaz holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
