Sophie CAILLIET, PhD, is a Senior Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain since November 2023, with a robust background in materials science and engineering. Prior roles include Project & Data Manager EMEA and S&T Ceramic Innovation Engineer at Imerys, as well as R&D Engineer at Saint-Gobain and a PhD student at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, where research focused on stabilized zirconia ceramic components for medical applications. Additional experiences encompass research positions at SPCTS Laboratory, CNRS, and Dentaurum Ceramics, contributing to studies on hydraulic binders, biomaterials, and dental ceramics.
