Leah Backus is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in instructional design and technical writing, currently serving as a Senior Instructional Designer at SailPoint since October 2020. Prior to this role, Leah worked at Acoustic as a Senior Technical Writer, where significant contributions included creating engaging technical documentation and implementing storytelling techniques. Leah's extensive background at IBM encompassed various roles, including Technical Writer, Support Service Planner, and Senior Instructional Designer, where adept collaboration with development and product management teams ensured the production of feature-focused documentation and training programs. Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Master of Library & Information Science, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
