Illia Volochii has three years of work experience in software development. In 2019, they began working as a Software Developer for Sailo. In 2018, they worked as a Software Developer for Innoteka, where they were responsible for all processes of software development of a data processing and visualization system using Python, Flask, Apache Airflow, SQLAlchemy, JavaScript, React and AWS, and they refactored code base and improved performance of the system significantly. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Software Developer for 42 Coffee Cups, where they were part of a distributed team developing various solutions using Python & Django and was a tech lead of a project for about half a year, working using TDD.

Illia Volochii obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas in 2020. Illia then continued their studies at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2021.
