Sricharani B. is a Scientist II at Sail Biomedicines, specializing in the development and optimization of next-generation lipid nanoparticles for tissue-specific nucleic acid delivery since January 2024. Prior to this, Sricharani served in a similar role at Senda Biosciences, focusing on mRNA delivery from May 2022 to December 2023. Sricharani's experience also includes a position as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh Swanson, where skills in high-resolution bacterial biofilm characterization and drug development for cystic fibrosis were honed from January 2018 to April 2022. Additional roles include Research Scholar positions at the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, culminating in a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Earlier research experience includes working as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at SASTRA, where Sricharani contributed to bioengineering projects and animal handling for drug development studies.
