Timmy Lau is an experienced engineering manager with a career spanning over 15 years in the telecommunications industry. Currently at Sagent since April 2011, Timmy Lau oversees engineering activities for new development projects and manages a team of engineers. Previously, Timmy Lau served as a Lead Development Engineer at Sagent, where responsibilities included developing test and repair capabilities for various networking infrastructure products and directing new repair project activities. Prior positions include R&D Engineer at Champion Telecom, where Timmy Lau collaborated with leadership to enhance design specifications and lab functionalities, and Electrical Engineer roles at both CTDI and CommScope, focusing on repair processes and test procedure development for telecommunications equipment. Timmy Lau holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University.
