Fatai Osinowo has extensive experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance. Fatai has held positions at various pharmaceutical companies, including Sage Therapeutics, where they currently serve as the Medical Director for Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance. Prior to their current role, Fatai worked at Pharmacylics, an Abbvie Company, as the Director of Medical Safety Science and Review Physician. Before that, they were the Director and Head of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Alexza Pharmaceutical. Fatai also worked as a Global Drug Safety Physician at Genentech, a Member of the Roche Family, and as a Drug Safety Physician and Lead Sponsor Monitor at Tanox Biopharmaceuticals.

Fatai Osinowo has a diverse education history. Fatai earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from the University College of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt. Fatai also pursued further studies in clinical research at Eastern Michigan University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Clinical Research. Fatai also completed graduate biostatistics studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. Additionally, they received HIV Management Trainings for Primary Care Physicians at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
