Cyndi Lichorowic has extensive work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry. Cyndi is currently employed at Sage Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Aerie Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry from January 2016 to present, and previously as a Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry from July 2016 to January 2021. Before their time at Aerie Pharmaceuticals, Cyndi was a Research Specialist I at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute from June 2009 to July 2010.

Cyndi Lichorowic earned a Bachelors degree, cum laude, in Chemistry from the University of South Florida from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended the University at Albany, SUNY in 2005 and 2006. Cyndi completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from Northeastern University, which they completed in 2016.
