Ymani Belcher has a range of work experience in education and marketing. Ymani currently works at Saga Education as the Director for District Partnerships, where they maintain and grows district partnerships nationwide and collaborates with clients to implement high-impact tutoring programs. Ymani also serves as a Client Relationship Manager, implementing and managing consulting contracts with outside organizations.

Prior to Saga Education, Ymani worked at Great Oaks Legacy Charter School as a 7th Grade Co-Grade Level Chair and Math Teacher. Ymani also served as an Honors Teacher, delivering STEM-oriented instruction and partnering with community organizations. At KIPP Texas Public Schools - Houston, they were an 8th Grade Teacher and Grade Level Chair, as well as a Graduate Teaching Fellow.

Ymani's earlier experience includes roles at Great Oaks Charter School Newark as a Tutor Corps Urban Education Fellow, at Irvington Public Schools as a Permanent Substitute, and at 125th Street Bid as a Marketing and Communications Manager. Ymani also had internships at MHPI Inc and Bentley University, and worked as an Event Coordinator at Black United Body and a Copy Center Sales Associate at Staples.

Ymani Belcher earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Secondary Mathematics from Relay Graduate School of Education between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from Bentley University between 2008 and 2012. Ymani completed their high school education at Columbia High School, receiving a High School Diploma in 2008.
