Julien Ampère is an experienced engineer with a strong background in project management and technical leadership within the aerospace and automotive industries. Currently serving as Program Chief Engineer Manager at Safran since September 2019, Julien oversees a team of Chief Engineers and manages new projects and solutions for a major fleet of aircraft. Previously, Julien held roles at Arquus as Chef de projet R&D, focusing on the development of new product lines, and as Manager of Engine Environment R&D, leading a team across multiple locations. Additional experience includes engineering leadership positions at Volvo Group Trucks Technology and Renault Trucks, where responsibilities ranged from air and gas management technologies to R&D in engine components. Early career experience includes design roles at AREVA NP. Julien holds a DUT from IUT Lyon 1 and Université Claude Bernard, along with a CQPM certification from AFPM.
