Jon Pickard is an experienced operations professional currently serving as Operations Director and Manufacturing Production Manager at Safran Helicopter Engines since January 2015. In addition, Jon holds a position as a member of the Board of Trustees for Youth Options. Previously, Jon worked at Turbomeca UK (Fareham) from July 2001 to January 2015, where roles included Production Manager and Production Coordinator, focusing on multi-functional team coordination to ensure quality and timely delivery. Early career experience includes a Fitter/ Turner Apprenticeship with the UK Ministry of Defence from 1998 to 2001. Jon possesses a strong educational background with degrees from the University of Portsmouth in Leadership, Business and Management, alongside qualifications in Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Jon is also engaged in ongoing professional development through the Institute of Leadership and Management.
