Christian Rey has extensive experience in academia and industry, currently serving as the Head of the Computational Applied Mathematics team at Safran since November 2014. Prior roles include Professor at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan from September 2002 to November 2014 and Professor chargé de cours at Ecole Polytechnique from September 2003 to August 2015. Christian Rey also held the position of Maître de conférences at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan from 1995 to 2002. Education includes a Doctorat in Mécanique from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and an Habilitation à diriger les recherches in Mécanique from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
