Awan Ibrahim is an accomplished procurement and acquisition professional with extensive experience in program purchasing and strategic sourcing. Currently serving as the Director of Program Purchasing at Safran since November 2019, Awan oversees purchasing strategies across a diverse portfolio of programs. Awan's prior experience at Honeywell includes roles such as Procurement Project Manager, where responsibilities involved managing a global procurement project portfolio valued at over $170 million. Awan also held positions as Senior Procurement Leader and Category Leader, emphasizing category management and oversight of annual spends. Previously, Awan served in the United States Air Force in various acquisition management roles, leading defense acquisition programs and supporting project management initiatives. Awan holds an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from HEC Paris, an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, and a BS in Chemistry from Morgan State University.
