Olivier Paquatte has a strong work experience in the personal care industry. Olivier started their career at Procter & Gamble as a Research Scientist in 1988 and worked there until 1998. Olivier then joined L'Oréal as an Associate Director from 1998 to 2001. Olivier then moved to Givaudan where they served as the Director of Technology and Application, leading a department of 40 people and formulating around 100,000 products annually. In 2003, they joined Rhodia as the Personal Care Innovation Manager, focusing on launching new technologies in untapped cosmetic markets. From 2005 to 2013, Olivier held the role of Marketing and Application Director for Cosmetics at LASERSON. Currently, they are the Head of Scientific & Technical Development for Personal Care at Safic-Alcan, a position they have held since 2014.
Olivier Paquatte has a diverse education background. In 1979, they attended the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne and completed a DEUG degree in Sciences de la Nature et de la Vie. From 1981 to 1984, they furthered their studies at CPE Lyon, where they obtained a degree in Ingénieur Chimiste, specializing in Chimie Industrielle. In 1993, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business at the Université libre de Bruxelles. Lastly, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochimie at the University of Houston, but the start and end years for this degree were not provided.
