Anthony Kurek is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Controller at SafeSend since May 2022, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Previously, Anthony held various lecturer positions at Eastern Michigan University from August 2008 to April 2022, educating students in financial and managerial accounting while advising on academic and certification paths. Additional roles include Outsourced Controller at AP Finance Services PLLC and founding member of A. Kurek Accounting and Consulting, providing financial services to small businesses. Anthony also served as Treasurer for the Eastern Michigan University Federation of Teachers and worked at Plante Moran as an In-charge Auditor. Anthony holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
